United for a Future that protects everyone’s well-being:

Alsa Lab Società Benefit and the Federico II University of Naples

Mediterranean Wellbeing for Human and Environment is an initiative born from the collaboration between Alsa Lab Società Benefit and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Federico II University of Naples, which aims to reward the most innovative doctoral thesis in Nutraceuticals, Functional Foods and Human Health.

The institution of this award has its roots in the vision of the Mediterraneanas a bridge between different peoples and cultures, the scenario of millennial populations who have greatly contributed to the history of humanity.
Italy, in particular, thanks to its strategic position, represents a key player in the game that calls us all to use innovation and technologies to rewrite a new paradigm, which sees the protection of the environment and human health as the only global act.
This scenario underlines the desire to shed light on the young minds of our country, too often underestimated, valorizing the youth and their driving force towards innovation and the search for a better future.

In fact, the award offers monetary recognition to university students who have developed and discussed a doctoral thesis on specific topics of interest to the world of wellness and health, in particular for the study of new and innovative functional food products.

The winner of the call, after careful selection by the commission, will receive € 3,000.00 as a prize for the most innovative thesis.

Alsa Lab Società Benefit

Among the many missions of Alsa Lab we find that of establishing a “bridge” between university education and the professional practice of young graduates, developing actions that aim to facilitate the identification of excellent students, to direct university researchers towards topics of industrial interest and to direct university teachings towards the specific needs of companies.

Federico II University – Faculty of Pharmacy

The partnership between the two realities has its roots in a relatively recent past: Raffaele Aloia and Rosaria Santangelo, founders of Alsa Lab, were students of the Federico II Faculty of Pharmacy and, in the continuation of their careers, have always looked to the world of training university as the fundamental fulcrum from which it all started.
For this reason, over the years the reciprocal exchange between the two realities has become intense and continuous, increasingly linking the university world to the world of work and vice versa, thus ensuring the best talents the necessary support to make them blossom.
